Since 2006 I\u00a0divide my\u00a0time between making personal animated films, creative programming, academic research, education and curatorial endeavors.<\/p>\n<p>Passionate about exploring innovative aesthetic and narrative forms of animation using emerging digital tools, particularly open-source software \/ hardware and programming.<\/p>\n<p>I have\u00a0taught courses and workshops on traditional and digital animation, Internet Art, creative programming, as well as animation history and theory.<\/p>\n<p>As founding director of the group <em><a href=\"http:\/\/moebiusanimacion.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Moebius Animaci\u00f3n<\/a><\/em>, my\u00a0curatorial focus is on providing visibility to auteur animation created in Latin America.<\/p>\n<p>Recipient of the USC Annenberg Fellowship, NTU Research Scholarship and multiple film festival awards. My\u00a0work has screened at numerous film festivals, galleries and museums from all around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Currently a PhD candidate\u00a0at the School of Art Design &amp; Media, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.\u00a0The tentative title of my\u00a0dissertation is <em>\u201cData Driven Drawings: An Approach to Autobiographical Animation\u201d<\/em>.
